Art LaBrie, who is tied for 8th in the IL in wins with 7, was locked in. The right-hander led the Lehigh Valley IronPigs to a 4-2 win against the Rochester Red Wings at Frontier Field. Rich Gilbert sewed up the save, his 9th. With the win, Lehigh Valley upped its record to 35-34.

Lehigh Valley needed the clutch hitting of Justin Tisdale to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the IronPigs on top, 3-2. For the game, Tisdale had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"That's what this team is about," said Tisdale, "picking each other up."
