Novoa Plays Big Role in Columbus Win
|
Columbus played host to Indianapolis at Huntington Park.
Columbus starter Raul Novoa pitched well against the Indianapolis Indians at Huntington Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Jayden Banks, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 13th save.
Novoa, now 2-0, scattered 3 hits over 7 innings for the Clippers.
"Even if things get a little hairy, Raul trusts his ability," said Columbus manager Dan Goldthwaite.
The Clippers are now 34-35.
