Tacoma and Sacramento got after it at Cheney Stadium.

The performance of Corey Ellis proved critical in helping Tacoma beat Sacramento, 4-1. The Rainiers third baseman belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Josh Gordon earned the win for Tacoma. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 1-0. Antonio Solorio picked up the save for Tacoma, his 1st of the year.
