The Chihuahuas earned a hard-fought, 3-0 win in 10 innings at Southwest University park. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Fresno pitcher Miguel Fregoso. Fregoso went 6.2 innings and allowed no runs. Arturo Robles snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Danny Torres suffered the loss. El Paso now has a record of 4-4.

El Paso got a game-changing hit from Enrique Escobar. The second baseman blasted a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"This house was rockin'," Escobar said.
