With Bobby Ruiz leading the charge, the Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the Memphis Redbirds, 6-5. Ruiz went 2-4 with 2 home runs for the Storm Chasers. Nate Brown recorded his 1st save for Omaha. Memphis drops to 6-3.

Omaha took a 6-5 lead on Manny Gallegos's 1st triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which Gallegos hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Memphis pitcher Danny Salazar visibly frustrated.

After the game, Omaha manager Willie Elizondo applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
