Torres Leads Chihuahuas to 10-4 Win Over Grizzlies
The El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Fresno Grizzlies by a score of 10-4. El Paso first baseman Oscar Torres deserved the lion's share of the credit. Torres was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Chihuahuas. The win was credited to Andy Anderson in relief. His record improves to 2-1. John Morseth took the loss. Fresno drops to 4-9.

In the top of the first, with the game still scoreless, Torres hit a run-scoring single to put his team in the lead.
