Storm Chasers Get Plucky, 6-5 Win Over Sounds
The Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the Nashville Sounds, 6-5, in 10 innings in American Conference action at Werner Park. Omaha pitcher Joel Horton had a standout performance. The Sounds fall to 4-9 and continue their lackluster start in 2114.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 24-year old second baseman Miguel Franco had a chance to be the hero. Nashville pitcher Ryan Strasser wanted to foil that plan. But with two outs, Franco drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Storm Chasers had themselves a thrilling win.

"This place was rockin'," said Franco.
