Riding the 3-hit performance of the 33-year old third baseman Jordan Baeza, the El Paso Chihuahuas stopped the Sacramento River Cats, 12-0. The defeat makes Sacramento 8-6.

El Paso center fielder Chris Kemper contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a sinker to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 5th hit of the season and put the Chihuahuas ahead, 2-0.

"Things went our way," said Kemper.
