The El Paso Chihuahuas beat the Tacoma Rainiers, 5-2, at Cheney Stadium. El Paso second baseman Zachary Gugliotta, who leads the PC in home runs with 5, collected 1 single and 1 double with 3 runs batted in. The loss puts Tacoma at 7-10.

El Paso took a 5-1 lead on Gugliotta's 3rd double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Joe Hill in the top of the seventh, propelled El Paso to the win.
