The Memphis Redbirds picked up a win at Werner Park, defeating the Omaha Storm Chasers, 5-1. Starting pitcher Jason Romanchik was an essential part of his team's success. Danny Salazar sewed up the save, his 3rd. The loss drops the Storm Chasers to 10-8.

Memphis used the hitting of Rafael Rangel to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Redbirds on top, 1-0. For the game, Rangel had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said Romanchik.
