Dodgers Snatch Late Win
|
The New Orleans Zephyrs got a sterling performance from pitcher Dan Roderick, but the Oklahoma City Dodgers still prevailed, 5-1. Roderick threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loss drops New Orleans to 9-9.
Noah Sanders was the walk-off hero for Oklahoma City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodgers third baseman hit a dramatic grand slam home run to send the teams home.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Sanders said.
