Behind a solid performance from second baseman Chad Cieslak, the Scranton WB RailRiders defeated the Buffalo Bisons, 7-4. Cieslak was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the RailRiders. Nick Daniel, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. David Nisly earned his 1st save, after closing out the game.

Scranton WB took a 5-4 lead on Jimmy Dillard's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Dillard hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Buffalo pitcher Alvaro Garcia visibly frustrated.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Dillard told the Scranton WB Citizen.
