4-2 Win Gets Omaha to 11-9
|
Omaha third baseman Dan Nardi was a significant contributor in his team's 4-2 triumph over the Nashville Sounds. He was 2 for 2 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Storm Chasers. Omaha has a record of 11-9.
Nardi had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-1 fastball from Neal Gregory, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Storm Chasers a 4-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Nardi.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Nardi. "And not try to do too much."
