The New Orleans Zephyrs received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Tim Basile, allowing them to shoot down the Nashville Sounds, 4-1. Roberto Silva picked up the save for New Orleans, his 2nd of the year. The win puts New Orleans at 10-11.
New Orleans starter Tim Basile was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 8.2 innings.
