Valasek Homers Twice in 12-6 Isotopes Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Albuquerque Isotopes and Salt Lake Bees.

Behind the hitting of Ken Valasek, the Albuquerque Isotopes defeated the Salt Lake Bees, 12-6. Valasek belted 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice for the Isotopes. Albuquerque pitcher Nick Guerrero got the win. He's now 2-0. Ben Hoffner was tagged with the loss.

Jon Hall, who leads the PC in total bases with 52, came through for Albuquerque with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. The right fielder was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and collected 3 RBI.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Isotopes manager Ryan Gangle. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."

The win gives the Isotopes a record of 13-10.
