Win Streak Now at 7 for Storm Chasers
The first-place Omaha Storm Chasers took on the Colorado Springs Sky Sox in front of a spirited crowd.

The Omaha Storm Chasers withstood a fine game by Colorado Springs catcher Chris Boley at Werner Park, to upend the Sky Sox, 11-6. Boley went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The triumph makes Omaha 18-6, as the team begins another long trek toward the playoffs in 2107.

The Sky Sox had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Storm Chasers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old catcher Sean Ownby came to the plate. Ownby hit a run-scoring triple on a first pitch sinker from Colorado Springs hurler Manny Rice. It was Ownby's 1st triple of the year.

"We'll enjoy this ride as long as it lasts," said Storm Chasers manager Willie Elizondo.
