The Salt Lake Bees thumped the Reno Aces, 10-2, at Aces Ballpark. Jerry Algerio was a big reason his team got the win. Algerio was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The setback makes the Aces 9-18.

With Salt Lake leading 6-1 in the top of the sixth, Algerio came up to bat against Reno pitcher Pat Cerniglia. Algerio hit a fastball to left-center for a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Bees on top, 9-1.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Algerio.
