Basile Stars in 3-1 New Orleans Win
|
Zephyr Field was the site of a tense game between the Round Rock Express and New Orleans Zephyrs.
The New Orleans Zephyrs, behind a great outing from Tim Basile, who leads the AC in complete games with 2, defeated the Round Rock Express, 3-1, at Zephyr Field. New Orleans is riding high at 21-6.
The Zephyrs liked what they saw from Basile. The 22-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Express to 1 run on 4 hits over 9 innings, and striking out 5.
"Tim had good arm action, good stuff," said New Orleans manager Matt Sorenson.
