The El Paso Chihuahuas topped the Albuquerque Isotopes, 6-3, in Pacific Conference action at Isotopes Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of El Paso pitcher Jay Johnson. Albuquerque now is 17-11.

Bill Contreras, the 25-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Contreras contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put El Paso up, 4-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Johnson told the El Paso Herald.
