The Las Vegas 51s defeated the El Paso Chihuahuas, 2-1, in Pacific Conference action at Cashman Field. Las Vegas pitcher Dave Boutillier had a standout performance. Boutillier, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 10, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Getting the save was Alberto Chavez, his 1st.
