Clark Confounds River Cats as Reno Wins, 2-1
|
The Reno Aces received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Inayat Ullah Clark, allowing them to shoot down the Sacramento River Cats, 2-1. Reno, with the win, is 9-22.
Clark dominated for Reno, raising his record to 2-3. Sacramento hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 9 innings while striking out 10.
"Tough loss," said Sacramento manager Damian Rivera. "The kind that burns a little inside."
