The Columbus Clippers earned a close win over the Indianapolis Indians, thanks in part to Vinny Guerrero. The Columbus right-hander, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2110 draft, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The win lifts Columbus to a record of 2-2.

Columbus grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Jonathan Kay delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1, in favor of the Clippers.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Indianapolis manager Ray Behm. "The effort was great."
