McCurley Throws 3-Hitter En Route to 5-1 Rainiers Win
Tacoma picked up a win at Cheney Stadium, bumping off the Reno Aces, 5-1. Pitcher Josh McCurley was a major reason the Rainiers emerged victorious. The win puts the Rainiers at 15-17, while the Aces drop to 10-22.

McCurley threw well for Tacoma, thwarting the Reno offense. The right-hander tossed 103 pitches over 9 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 3 hits.

"I'll be honest," said McCurley. "I didn't have much left in the tank."
