Round Rock first baseman Ryan Keeny had a 4-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the El Paso Chihuahuas, 10-4. Keeny picked up 3 singles and 1 double in the ballgame. Jim Schroeter picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Ben Johnson, who leads the PC in innings pitched with 53.0, was tagged with the loss. The first-place Express now have a record of 19-13.

The Express got a big boost from third baseman John Fuller who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Chihuahuas hurler Ben Johnson. It was his 8th walk of the season and put Round Rock on top, 1-0.
