Reno Aces pitcher Adam Hallett whisked his team past the Omaha Storm Chasers, 7-2. Hallett got the win, improving to 3-2. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Adrian Castro picked up the save for Reno, his 2nd of the year.

Reno used a clutch at-bat from Dave Gonzales to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Aces ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Adam was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Reno manager Jose Heredia.

At 13-19, the Aces are currently last in the Pacific Conference North Division.
