Runyon Torches Sky Sox for 5 Hits
All game long, Fresno's Chris Runyon was rattling the walls at Security Service Field and banging out base hits against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Grizzlies had a win, 9-4.

Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 29-year-old third baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."

Chris Runyon singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Burke Rohrabaugh in the 8th.

In the current season, Runyon has put up a .333 batting average with 29 hits, 3 home runs, 22 runs batted in and scored 16 runs.
