Storm Chasers Go Down to Defeat, 6-1
The El Paso Chihuahuas defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers, 6-1. Doing his part was first baseman Oscar Torres, who was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. El Paso is now 21-12, Omaha 16-15.

Torres contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for El Paso in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Torres took a fastball from Javon Bolton and stroked the home run to right. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Chihuahuas to leap in front, 3-1.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Torres told the El Paso Daily.
