In a tight contest at Werner Park, the Omaha Storm Chasers edged the Reno Aces by the score of 13-12. Omaha shortstop Mike Faria, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. With the win, the Storm Chasers have a record of 19-12.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Storm Chasers grabbed the lead when Faria hit his 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Jim Unknown made it 13-12, Omaha.
