The Albuquerque Isotopes topped the Salt Lake Bees, 4-3, in Pacific Conference action at Smith's Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Albuquerque pitcher Eric Owens. Oliver Parker notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record now sits at 3-1. Albuquerque is 18-15 and Salt Lake, with the loss, 19-14.

Aaron Cruse went 2 for 4 with 2 singles for Albuquerque. With one out and the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, Cruse, who is tied for 3rd in the PC in hits with 41, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Salt Lake hurler Manny Rosales, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Isotopes a 4-3 lead.

"We scored more than enough runs this time," said Albuquerque manager Ryan Gangle. "Now watch. The next game we'll probably struggle to get a base hit."
