Omaha Dazzled, Walsh Hurls No-Hitter
|
Tony Walsh of the Tacoma Rainiers was the King of the Hill at Werner Park.
The Tacoma starter dominated the Omaha Storm Chasers, giving up zero hits in his 3-0 victory.
"The toughest part was the last couple of innings," Walsh recounted after the game. "You know you have a no-hitter going, and so does everybody in the ballpark. That was the hard part, keeping focused and concentrating while your heart is pounding."
Walsh recorded 5 strikeouts and no walks in the game.
