The Oklahoma City Dodgers picked up a win at Southwest University park, knocking off the El Paso Chihuahuas, 6-0. On the mound for Oklahoma City was right-hander Josh Salvino, who played a pivotal role in the win. Oklahoma City occupies first place in the American Conference North Division at 24-10.

The Dodgers grabbed the lead in the top of the first. With two out, Josh Sanborn, who leads the AC in extra base hits with 18, hit a solo home run off Pablo Romero, putting Oklahoma City in front, 2-0. For Sanborn, it was his 15th home run of the season.

"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Salvino said. "That's how it goes."
