The Sacramento River Cats knocked off the Nashville Sounds, 6-4, in Pacific Conference action at Raley Field. Sacramento pitcher and Bar Harbor, Maine, native Colin King had an outstanding performance. Israel Torres recorded the save for Sacramento, his 2nd of the season. With the win, Sacramento has a record of 21-13. Nashville falls to 11-23.

Mike Pothast hit a 2-run double off Josh Steele in the bottom of the sixth, which put the River Cats in front, 6-4. In addition to the double, Pothast had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
