Redbirds Collect 9-7 Win Over Aces
The Memphis Redbirds faced a tough opponent in Reno pitcher Seth Thornton, but still scratched out a win at Aces Ballpark by a final score of 9-7 in 12 innings. Thornton went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Bill Cruz claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. His record stands at 1-0.
