The Reno Aces weathered an outstanding game by Memphis second baseman Jon Kunkel to topple the Redbirds, 11-6. Kunkel was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The save went to Hector Casares, number 2 for him. At 15-22, the Aces find themselves in third place in the Pacific Conference North Division.

Right Fielder Jonathan Galdamez made an impact for Reno, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Chris Rapley in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Galdamez was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Galdamez told the Reno Daily News.
