In 11, Colorado Springs Beats Fresno, 9-7
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox overcame a pretty good performance by Fresno designated hitter Trent Clow, beating the Grizzlies, 9-7, in 11 innings. Clow went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Jason Dargay, now 2-5, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Despite the win, the Sky Sox have a lousy 13-26 record.

Colorado Springs got a knockout punch from David Rowe. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Sky Sox manager Dustin Kent wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
