In a seemingly effortless performance, Tony Walsh of the Tacoma Rainiers shot down the Oklahoma City Dodgers, 3-0, on 2 hits.

"Tony was just locating so well and using his pitches," Tacoma manager Wayne Blanchard said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Walsh recorded 9 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Oklahoma City manager Hector Pinero said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
