The Las Vegas 51s and Oklahoma City Dodgers obliged fans looking for a good time.

The Las Vegas 51s trumped the Oklahoma City Dodgers, 6-5, at Cashman Field. Las Vegas catcher Willie Rodriguez was terrific. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times. Reliever Justin McClendon picked up the win. His record improves to 1-1. Ted Spann took the loss.

Had Sam Baia not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Baia hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the 51s.

"We scored enough runs to win," said Rodriguez.

With the win, Las Vegas raised its record to 22-18.
