Danny Nash propelled his team to victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas. The final score was 5-3, Omaha. Nash, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Curtis Swanson closed the door for Omaha, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Omaha used the hitting of Bobby Ruiz to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Storm Chasers on top, 4-0. For the game, Ruiz had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
