Isotopes Scratch Out 2-1 Win
|
The Albuquerque Isotopes locked up a win at Dell Diamond, knocking off the Round Rock Express, 2-1. On the mound for Albuquerque was left-hander Ernie Lowery. He played a major role in the triumph. Albuquerque has a record of 25-16, placing them first in the Pacific Conference South Division.
Ben Overton, who is tied for 6th in the PC in triples with 2, had a direct impact on the outcome. Overton contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Albuquerque up, 2-0.
"Do what you're good at," said Albuquerque manager Ryan Gangle. "That's all I ask of the team."
