The Tacoma Rainiers reigned over the Omaha Storm Chasers in damp conditions.

The Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Omaha Storm Chasers, 8-4. Doing his part was catcher Danny Dominguez, who was 4 for 4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI. Mike LaCoursiere got the win, improving to 2-0. He worked 5.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 2. David Morse got credit for the save for Tacoma. It was his 2nd of the year.

In the top of the sixth, Dominguez put his team in front with his 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which came against Sean Robbins, made it 6-4, Tacoma.

"Winning is the only objective," said Dominguez after the game.

Tacoma is in third place in the Pacific Conference North Division with a record of 17-25.
