Pitcher Fumikazu Nakahama was rock solid in helping the Iowa Cubs beat the Reno Aces, 5-1. Nakahama, now 2-2, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 11, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. Earning his 6th save for Iowa was J.R. Pearson.
