The Tacoma Rainiers scored a tight 2-1 win versus the Omaha Storm Chasers at Werner Park. Tacoma pitcher Jose Rebolloso held his own in the contest. The winning pitcher was Rebolloso, now 3-3. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 8. With the win over Omaha, the Rainiers improved to 20-22.

Tacoma used the clutch hitting of Matt Spindle to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Rainiers the lead, 1-0. For the game, Spindle had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
