Colorado Springs Drops Another One, 4-2
The Tacoma Rainiers defeated the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, 4-2. First Baseman Victor de la Rosa deserved a large share of the credit. de la Rosa went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Rainiers. Jorge Santana got the win, improving to 4-4. He held the Sky Sox to 2 runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The win puts Tacoma at 23-19 this season.

de la Rosa had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-0 sinker from Danny Urista, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Rainiers a 3-1 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for de la Rosa.

"Put the ball in play and good things will happen," said de la Rosa.
