Behind the bravura of left fielder Jesus Flores, the Tacoma Rainiers topped the Omaha Storm Chasers by the score of 10-4. Flores was 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Rainiers. Tacoma has won 4 consecutive games.

It could have been a different outcome for Tacoma, had it not been for Rick Norman, the 25-year old catcher . Norman contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Tacoma up, 8-2.

Norman said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
