Gable Helps Las Vegas Outscore Albuquerque
Matt Gable was the difference-maker for the Las Vegas 51s in what turned into a shootout with the Albuquerque Isotopes. Gable, who is tied for 3rd in the PC in home runs with 10, went 2-for-5 in the 15-11 51s win. Matt Lemke, the winning pitcher, is now 6-1. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 8 hits, while fanning 6 and walking 2. The win makes Las Vegas 26-21.

Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Gil Berrios to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the 51s ahead, 4-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Berrios told the Las Vegas Times. "It's as simple as that."
