The Fresno Grizzlies had no problem beating the Nashville Sounds, 11-2, at Chukchansi Park. Aaron McNelley led the way. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 6 runs and scored once for Fresno. The Grizzlies sit in third place in the Pacific Conference North Division with a record of 19-28.
In the bottom of the first, McNelley had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run single off Dylan Harrison that staked the Grizzlies to a 2-0 lead.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," McNelley told a Fresno Times reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
