Rainiers Walk It Off for 20th Win of Season
Reno got a valiant performance from pitcher Jordan Badillo, but it wasn't enough to beat the Tacoma Rainiers. Tacoma won the game, 5-3. Badillo threw 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The Rainiers, now 20-28, know that wins in May count the same as wins in September.

Tacoma got a game-changing hit from Doug Armstrong. The center fielder blasted a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"It was bedlam at the end," Armstrong said.
