Storm Chasers Pull Even With 6-2 Victory
The Omaha Storm Chasers got a strong performance from pitcher Matt Poerio, who stymied the Sacramento offense en route to a win, 6-2, at Werner Park. Poerio went the distance for Omaha. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. The third-place Storm Chasers now have a win-loss record of 24-24.

The Storm Chasers got a big at-bat from left fielder Josh Noland. For the game, Noland went 1 for 3 with a double. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 4th double of the season gave Omaha a 1-0 lead.
