The El Paso Chihuahuas manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Salt Lake Bees. The Chihuahuas were overpowered by Salt Lake starter Mitch White, who hurled his club to victory, 4-0.

"It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Matt Pace said.

Over 9 innings, White blanked El Paso on 2 hits with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.

"I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," White said.

"I set them up, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one."

This season, White has a 1-1 record with a 3.86 ERA.
