Rainiers Capture Close Win
The Fresno Grizzlies got a superb performance from pitcher Luis Castillo, but the Tacoma Rainiers still won the game, 2-1. Castillo threw 9.0 innings of 6-hit ball. Antonio Solorio snagged the win in relief. He goes to 2-6 on the season. Luis Castillo suffered the loss. Mike Nance earned the save, his 2nd.

Alex Flores came through with a big-time hit for Tacoma. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We found a way to win tonight," Flores said.

The win gives the Rainiers a record of 15-34.
