It might have been a rain-shorted game, but Sky Sox fans didn't seem to mind as long as their team got the win.

The inspired effort of Round Rock designated hitter Scott Anderson was not enough to prevent a loss, 7-6, to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Anderson went 4-4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Bronson Kellerman collected save number 1.

Juan Aguirre had a big run-scoring double for the Sky Sox in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Colorado Springs leading 6-3 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Justin Denton and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sky Sox ahead, 7-3.

"We found a way to get it done," Aguirre said.

The victory gives Colorado Springs a record of 28-21.
