Isotopes Lose Versus El Paso, 5-1
The Albuquerque Isotopes could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Jon Uribe into a win. Instead, the El Paso Chihuahuas prevailed, 5-1. Uribe came in in relief and pitched to 17 batters. The Chihuahuas sit in third place in the Pacific Conference South Division with a record of 24-26.

El Paso won the game in part because of Kevin Biron. The designated hitter ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Chihuahuas ahead, 5-1. For the game, Biron had 1 double and 1 home run in 3 at-bats.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Biron.
