Rainiers Get Clutch Win Versus Reno
The inspired effort of Reno designated hitter Sergio Pastrana was not enough to prevent a loss, 6-5, to the Tacoma Rainiers. Pastrana was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The third-place Rainiers now have a win-loss record of 22-31.

The Rainiers used some clutch hitting to beat the Aces, a good example being the at-bat of Jose Falcon in the top of the ninth. With two down, Falcon gave his team the lead, 6-5, when he hit a run-scoring single.

"Nice win for us," said Falcon. "Now we'll go after the next one."
