The Fresno Grizzlies handed the Albuquerque Isotopes a sound defeat, 11-3, at Chukchansi Park. Diego Barrera was a main contributor to the win. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 4 times and driving in 3 for Fresno. The Grizzlies win now puts them at 26-28.

Raul Romero had a big grand slam home run for the Grizzlies in the bottom of the second inning. With Fresno leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a sinker from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Roy Underhill and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Grizzlies on top, 5-0.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Fresno skipper Seth Dugas.
